University Research Team Develops High-Temperature Resistant differential mode inductor for Aerospace Power Systems

A research team from a top engineering university has developed a custom high-temperature differential mode inductor targeting aerospace power conversion and satellite-borne power supply systems. Aerospace electronic devices operate under extreme thermal, radiation and vibration environments, imposing strict limits on the stability of the differential mode inductor. The research team selected high-temperature insulated wire and radiation-resistant nanocrystalline magnetic core material for this differential mode inductor, enabling stable operation at ambient temperatures up to 210℃ without obvious inductance attenuation. In satellite power bus circuits, the differential mode inductor filters differential current ripples generated by switching regulators and shields sensitive onboard control circuits from power-line noise. The prototype differential mode inductor has passed environmental simulation tests, and the team is cooperating with aerospace contractors to advance small-batch qualification for next-generation low-orbit satellite projects.
