German Startup Introduces Miniature Toroidal Coil Inductor for IoT Applications

Berlin — MicroMag Solutions, a German startup specializing in miniature magnetic components, has announced the release of a groundbreaking toroidal coil inductor designed for ultra-compact IoT devices. 

Measuring just 6 mm in diameter, the inductor uses a proprietary nanocrystalline alloy core to reduce electromagnetic interference while maintaining stable inductance under variable loads. 

The product’s compact size allows integration into smart sensors, wearable devices, and other space-limited electronics without compromising performance. MicroMag’s engineering team claims that the new inductor can extend battery life by up to 10% in certain wireless devices. This development comes at a time when the global IoT market is expected to exceed $1 trillion by 2030, driving demand for smaller, more efficient passive components in mass-produced electronics.
